Your First Steps

After creating your account, Arvee presents a set of optional tasks to help you get set up. These appear as a checklist with a completion percentage — work through them at your own pace.

Profile Tasks

Verify Your Email

Confirming your email address unlocks social features like sending friend requests and sharing trips. Check your inbox for the verification email and click the link. See Verifying Your Email for details.

Set Your Name

If you signed up with just an email and password, your profile won’t have a name yet. Adding your first and last name helps friends recognize you on the platform. You can do this from your profile settings — see Managing Your Profile.

Add Your First Friend

Arvee is better with friends! You can add friends by searching for them in the app or by scanning a QR code. See Adding a Friend for all the ways to connect.

Tip

If someone shared a QR code with you before you signed up, Arvee automatically sends them a friend request when you create your account.

Get Started with Trip Planning

Once you’re set up, the best way to explore Arvee is to create your first trip:

  • Creating a Trip — Set up a new trip and start adding destinations
  • The Arvee Map — Browse campgrounds, overnight stops, and dump stations
  • Setup Your Rig — Configure your RV details for better routing and filtering

Take Your Time

None of the profile tasks are mandatory. You can skip any of them and come back later — Arvee works right away for trip planning even without a complete profile.
