Verifying Your Email

After creating your account, Arvee sends a verification email to the address you signed up with. Verifying your email confirms that you own the address and unlocks the full Arvee experience.

Why Verify?

Email verification is required for social features that involve reaching out to other users:

  • Sending friend requests
  • Sharing trips with other Arvee users

You can still use most of Arvee without verifying — creating trips, browsing the map, managing your profile, and accepting friend requests all work immediately. But to connect with others, you’ll need to verify first.

How to Verify

  1. Check the inbox for the email address you used to sign up
  2. Open the email from Arvee
  3. Click the verification link in the email

That’s it — your email is verified and you’re all set.

Tip

Check your spam or junk folder if you don’t see the email within a few minutes.

Resending the Verification Email

If you didn’t receive the verification email or the link has expired, you can request a new one from within the app. Look for the option to resend the verification email in your profile or account settings.

Changing Your Email

If you change your email address in your profile settings, your verification status resets. You’ll receive a new verification email at the updated address and will need to verify again before using social features. See Managing Your Profile for more on changing your email.
