Creating an Account
Getting started with Arvee is quick — you only need an email address and password to create an account. No credit card or detailed profile information is required upfront.
Signing Up on Mobile
Open the Arvee app and tap Sign Up. You’ll see two options: create an account with your email, or sign up using a social account.
Email Registration
To register with email:
- Enter your email address
- Choose a password
- Accept the Terms of Service
- Tap Create Account
That’s it — no name or other details are required at this stage. You can add your name and profile photo later.
Social Account Registration
You can also create your account using an existing social account. Tap one of the social sign-in buttons:
- Sign in with Google
- Sign in with Apple
- Sign in with Facebook
On iOS, the Apple button appears first. On Android, the Google button appears first. All three options are available on both platforms.
When you sign up with a social account, Arvee uses the name from your social profile if available. If your social provider doesn’t share your name (which can happen with Apple Sign-In), a fun themed username like WanderingPines4821 is generated for you instead. You can always update your name later from your profile.
Signing Up on the Web
Visit arvee.io and click Sign Up to access the registration form. The web registration form works the same way — enter your email, choose a password, and accept the terms.
Your Username
Every Arvee account gets a username automatically. You don’t choose one during signup:
- If you provide your name (or it comes from a social provider), your username is based on your name — for example, johndoe.
- If no name is available, you’ll get a randomly generated themed username like RollingNomad3847 or SunnyExplorer5291.
You can change your username later from your profile settings. See Managing Your Profile for details.
What’s Next?
After creating your account, you’ll be signed in automatically. Arvee will guide you through a few optional setup steps to get the most out of the app — see Your First Steps to learn more.
You’ll also receive a verification email. Verifying your email unlocks social features like sending friend requests. See Verifying Your Email for details.
