Filtering Your Friends
Depending on the number of friends you have, as well as your personal preferences, you may find yourself overwhelemd by the markers on the map showing the places your friends will be. You can filter these markers, or disable them entirely until needed, using the map’s social filtering features.
The Social Filter Dialog
The social filter dialog can be found on the map by clicking the icon toward the lower-right hand corner of the screen:
This dialog allows you to enable/disable specific friend’s markers, or adjust the timeframe for which you will see their markers based on a date range.
Adjusting the date range
You can modify how far into the future you will see your friend’s trip plans by adjusting the date range from the social filters dialog. By default, you will see your friend’s trip plans 90 days into the future from today’s date.
To adjust this date range, you can select a predefined range from the provided options or select a custom date range:
If you choose Custom
, you will be presented with a calendar to select the specific window of time you want to see
trip stops of your friends for:
Enabling / Disabling Friends
Along with adjusting the dates, you can also enable or disable which friends plans you would like to see simply by clicking the toggle switch next to each friend’s name. Alternatively, you can enable and disable all of your friends at once using the provided controls.
Which friends are enabled/disabled to be showing on the map view is persistent in the application between logins.
